Rushton Sports is an event management company based out of scenic Middlebury, VT.  The company is owned and operated by Jerrod Rushton.    Jerrod is a Certified Race Director through USA Triathlon.  Rushton Sports is an equal partner in the Vermont Sun Triathlon Series, which includes two Vermont Sun Sprint Triathlons, The Lake Dunmore Triathlon and the Half Vermont Journey Triathlon. This series of triathlon events, which is held from Branbury State Park in Salisbury, Vermont, is one of the oldest and most well respected series in the country.

In addition to producing several multisport races each year, Rushton Sports offers consulting services in event and health club management.   The company is proud to sponsor numerous local running events such as the Shoreham Apple Blossom and Middlebury Maple Run Half Marathon.   Since becoming the Race Director of the Vermont Sun Triathlon Series in 1998 Jerrod Rushton has produced and directed over 100 multi-sport and running events.   Currently, Rushton Sports produces 5 triathlon events annually and takes great pride in producing events that are not only professionally organized but also safe, fun, fair and affordable as well.
