08.30.10 Congratulations to Angie DeFilippi of Colchester, VT and Mike Wynn of Queensbury, NY for their overall victories in the Half Vermont Journey. Angie broke her own course record (set in 2009) by posting a finish time of 4:50:28 while Mike posted an impressive 4:18:06.

08.09.10 Congratulations to Jessie Donavan of Shelburne, VT for her record setting female overall win at the Lake Dunmore Triathlon on August 8th. Jessie's finish time of 2:19:49 blew away the previous course record of 2:23:07 set in 2009. Jessie had a stellar day breaking not only the overall course record but the bike and run records as well. She cycled the 28 miles in 1:11:27 and ran the 10k in 42.04. What a day!
08.09.10 Congratulations to Brett Nichols of Brookline, MA for his victory at the Lake Dunmore Triathlon on Aug 8th. Brett had a great day with an awesome time of 2:05:00 just missing the overall course record of 2:04:35 set by Ironman winner Alex McDonald in 2007. Brett still holds the swim course record (set in '09) by swimming the .9 miles in 18:11.

07.26.10 Aqua-Bike Division for the Half Vermont Journey. Interested in racing the half on 8/29/10 but dont want to do the 13.1 mile run? No problem...register in the aqua bike division which is the swim and bike only. Swim 1.2 miles, Bike 56 miles and then sit back and enjoy the rest of the awesome event!

07.18.10 Congratulations to Patrick O'Keefe of Queensbury, NY for breaking the swim course record in todays sprint race. Patrick swam the 600 yard swim in a lightning fast 6:27 breaking the old men's swim record of 6:46.
07.18.10 Kevin Bouchard-Hall and Donna Smyers post impressive times to win the second sprint triathlon of the year. Kevin posted an amazing 59:43 (only 39 seconds from the overall course record!) while Donna completed the course in an awesome 1:08:06 (only 24 seconds from the overall female course record)

07.06.10 Open water swim clinic instructed by John Spinney on Saturday, July 10th. Clif bar is now a sponsor of the event and all swimmers will walk away with free Clif product from the new product line. Swimmers will also have access to a free triathlon race execution (pacing, fueling, hydration, transition skills) consult. For more details click here.
